From October 13 to 18 this year, the First International Puppet Theater Festival «Puppetland-Digital» was held in Shymkent. The best productions of Kazakhstan and foreign puppet theaters were presented in the festival playbill. The spectators watched performances of 20 creative teams from different countries and got in touch with culture and traditions of these peoples. Kostanay Regional Puppet Theater presented the performance «Scarlet Flower» directed by N.Belousova, based on the fairy tale by S.Aksakov. The performance was received warm welcome by both young viewers of theater art and guests of the festival. The work of the actors of the theater was also highly appreciated. Olga Korotchenko, an actress of the theater, was especially appreciated by theater critics and became laureate in the nomination «Yzdik actress». She was awarded with a diploma of the festival and money certificate for 500000 tenge.
