On February 25 this year the regional puppet theater hosted the premiere of the play «MEN...». This unusual performance was staged by a guest director from Georgia Nikoloz Sabashvili, who is always looking for modern dramaturgy for the audience and emphasizes current problems. In his play the director touched upon such an important social problem as bullying. It is important to realize that bullying is not just physical or verbal violence, but a psychological trauma that a person can carry throughout his or her life. The play depicts the life of the main character. At different stages of his life he faces cruelty, misunderstanding and becomes an object of aggression and humiliation. Having watched the play, the audience will be able to feel the emotional load of each participant, understand the pain and feelings of the one who experienced moral and physical bullying and look at the problem of bullying from different sides. The new production is characterized by a non-standard director's solution. To realize his ideas Nikoloz Sabashvili took part in the creation of the play not only as a director, but also as a visual artist and music composer. The premiere was attended by guests of honor, media representatives and small spectators. According to the feedback from the first spectators, this performance will be a landmark event for all connoisseurs of theater art.
